What gets installed?
One app, plus a bundled copy of FFmpeg 8.1 (GPL build) used as a sidecar. No system-wide ffmpeg, no background services, no telemetry. Uninstall removes everything. Read more →

Auto-updates
FFkit checks once a day for a new version and asks before downloading. You can turn the check off in Settings. There is no other network traffic.
